Staff Profiles   Robert H. Anthony, Principal Bob has been with Brown,Rogers & Co. since 1992, working in all areas of tax and financial planning as well as closely held business consulting. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and his M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas. With more than 30 years of accounting experience, Bob has been honored as Accountant of the Year by the University of Arkansas and has served as the Chairman of the Arkansas Federal Tax Institute. His professional associations included the AICPA and the Arkansas Society of CPA'S, an organization he has been a member of since 1965. Bob has participated in seminars on topics related to corporations, partnerships, individual tax & financial planning, estates & trust, retirement plans and tax exempt entities. He has also held leadership positions with the Kiwanis Club, Sales & Marketing Executives Association, Fullfill a Dream, Kingsbridge POA and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organizations. He plans and directs all accounting and tax-related work for corporate and individual clients, including their property and use taxes, business plans, investment analysis and computer conversions. He earned his B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration at Ouachita Baptist University. Mark's professional affiliations include the Arkansas Society of CPA's. He is involved in the Leadership of Greater Little Rock and is a member of the Little Rock Executives Association. Bumpers, Principal John joined Brown Rogers & Co. in 1980. His extensive areas of specility include general business, audit, contractor's audit, Medicare cost reports, computer technology and retirement plans as well as tax planning and preparation for all types of closely held entities. John earned his B.A. in Economics and Buisness from Hendrix College in Arkansas. His professional affiliations include the Arkanas Society of CPA's and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also active in Rotary and the Conway Chamber of Commerce. John has held leadership positions with the Henrix College Aquakids, Camp Aldersgate and the Arkansas Swimming Hall of Fame. Colford, Principal Joe joined Brown Rogers & Co. in 1985. He has been a partner with the firm since 1992 and has developed close working relationships with business owners in a wide variety of industries. The focus of Joe's practice is not only to provide quality tax, accounting and audit products but also to assist clients in making their business more successful.He also has some experience in performing business valuations and has developed a specialty area for the firm in providing ERISA audits for employee benefit plans. He received his B.S. in Business and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from Hendrix College in Arkansas. His professional affiliations include the Arkansas Society of CPA's and the Association of Governmental Accountants. Joe has been involved with the Metropolitan Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club and has held leadership positions with Riverfest and has served on his church finance board. He specializes in financial planning, income and estate tax planning for individuals, closely held corporations and partnerships. He also helps clients with strategic business decisions, Internal Revenue Service representation and general business services. Jim earned his B.A. in Accounting from Arkansas State University. His professional affiliations inlcude the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of CPA's. He is certified in Arkansas and Tennessee. Jim is also involved with the Arkansas Children's Hospital Committee for the Future, St. Vincent Infirmary's Project Guardian Angel and the Serra Foundation. She has a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, seven years experience as a Revenue Agent with Internal Revenue Service in Oklahoma and Arkansas and over twenty years of public accounting experience. Ms. Redden is bilingual (English and Spanish) with also broad knowledge of French with emphasis on the written word. Her professional practice is concentrated in small business consulting, representation before federal and state government agencies with emphasis on tax disputes, business reorganizations and bankruptcies, and business and individual tax, financial, and estate planning. She has worked with clients throughout USA and Panama and is continuing to travel to Panama to expand her practice in the international area working with manufacturing companies, distributors, franchisers and franchisees in USA and Latin countries. She completed an internship lasting several months in International Trade with the US Department of Commerce, Arkansas Export Assistance Center, and related seminars with Unz and Company. She served many years as an appointed Council Member of the Advisory Board of the US Small Business Administration in Arkansas. She is also the charter past president of the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and a past president of the Central Arkansas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants in Little Rock.
